Where UAS platforms cannot be used and or provide incomplete data sets, such as obstructions (trees, buildings, eagles nests) The Bid3 platform and sensors (mast enabled visual and thermal) with our inspection teams enables us to deliver a consistently exceptional product exceeding capabilities of drone based systems with safety and efficiency paramount.

Data, Delivery, Processing and Quality Assurance
-
With our team of data scientists and back office data and IT support we can provide everything from Data Capture Assurance, Data Quality Delivery, Field-to-Office Data transfer, Post Processing through to real-time KPI reporting tailored to individual management teams.
-
Invair can also provide processing of LIDAR & photogrammetry "digital twin" 3D point cloud including point cloud modeling for specific measurement and risk analysis for various use-cases such as vegetation managment.
-

Real-Time Operational & Lifecycle Management
-
Invair runs its own business using our MIMS suite of cloud based solutions. That family of systems can be used by our customers to plan and allocate tasking, maintain real-time visibility into inspection program status and access deliverables. In addition, emerging or urgent tasking including incident triage resolution can be managed via MIMS which retains all communications with time stamped, geo-tagged and users based references.

Core Utility Capabilities

Utility Conductor & Infrastructure Inspection
-
With more than 35,000 transmission and distribution inspections, focused on quality on-time delivery and in-field safety utilizing the most effective and allowable sensors and methods. Standard deliverables include high resolution geo-tagged visual imagery of the asset.

Vegetation Management Learn More
-
With more than 5,000 hours of vegetation, encroachment, and land survey expertise, Invair has the UAS platforms, sensors and teams to deliver actionable intelligence and repeatable methods to allow for year on year change analysis.

Emergency Support
-
Our core teams are standing by with more than 5000 hours of DoD, FEMA, Forestry Service, State and Enterprise level emergency support work experience. Focused on urgent quality on-time delivery of information and in-field safety in extreme and potentially hazardous conditions. Invair combines this with our MIMS response platform which allows for real-time incident and triage management and data sharing all geo-referenced.

Hydro Inspections
-
Dam, Penstock & Spillway and other associated infrastructure inspections, our teams have more than 5,000 acres mapped utilizing UAS platforms, delivering the results while combining the speed, agility, cost savings and safety needed to meet customer needs. Standard deliverables include high resolution visual and thermal geo-tagged image sets. Visual image set comprises a photogrammetry deck of the dam exterior plus surrounding spillway and adjacent watershed. At the customer’s discretion, we can provide real-time access to monitor data capture video by customer engineers to allow directed deeper level investigative analysis via drone camera of any area of interest noted during the inspection flight to avoid a subsequent inspection visit.

Gas
-
We are expert in pipeline inspection services and generally offer two distinct approaches based on the relevant inspection goals. Level 1 inspections focus on capturing visual and thermal video to support initial issue identification. Level 2 provides a more precise and detailed inspection of a specific area of interest and can follow a specific inspection plan provided by the customer. Standard deliverables are high resolutions visual and thermal image sets. Both approaches are focused on identifying: 1) Underground pipeline leaks showing plant kill-off zones, a sign of leaks, 2) Special purpose thermal imagery of pipeline routes; tuned to visualize methane, hydrocarbons, and VOC emissions, & hotspots, which may point to potential defects in pipeline insulation or leaks invisible to the human eye, 3) Where appropriate close-ups of equipment like flare stacks while running to avoid the necessity of shut down.
-
Additionally, we can provide high quality area photogrammetry image sets to support point cloud mapping capable of time based comparison to identify damage such as before and after a weather event.

R&D
-
We are experienced in working in an R&D environment including maintaining and providing enhanced details and measurements of that work including comparative data to support follow on analysis. Our experience in process and inspection design is also available as we work as part of any development or research project. This work has no formal deliverables other than availability of expertise and capability to the customer.

Geosciences / Land / Crop Management
-
Incorporating projects such as sediment, erosion, fish, tributary studies, construction remediation site changes etc. We deploy an array of visual and advanced sensors based on the collection requirements and needs. Agriculture status and action data through use of LIDAR and multi-spectral imaging to detect the various conditions that drive negative yield impacts in a timely manner to drive restorative action.

Solar
-
Our specialist teams have significant experience mapping and monitoring renewable energy farms in North America. The primary inspection approach for Solar farms includes high resolution visual and thermal image sets, all geotagged to identify mechanical and connectivity damage or vulnerabilities.

Wind
-
Our Wind specialist teams have extensive work experience in North America capturing inspection grade imagery for evaluation of the health and condition of offshore and onshore wind turbines. The primary inspection approach is a high-resolution visual image set supported by a thermal image set, all geotagged to identify mechanical and connectivity damage or vulnerabilities. Visual imagery can help determine proof of visual failures/damage to the tower, nacelle, rotor blades, and bolt/brackets. IR imagery can help identify structural defects and weakness in the blade such as delamination and internal composite layer separation, measurement of inaccessible areas, damage in shadowed areas, and erosion/corrosion issues.

Substations
-
Invair retains specific teams for substation inspections and utilizes hardened EMI UAS platforms and sensors to allow inspection operations at between 150 and 200ft above target. Standard inspection routing delivers high resolution visual or thermal image sets all fully geo-tagged with each asset imaged multiple times from differing angles to support post-delivery point cloud modeling. A tailored autonomous flight plan is designed and entered into the flight management system prior to onsite inspection and data delivery is conducted after visit.
